Iberian Publishing Company's On-Line Catalog: Tucker County Virginia
Tucker County was formed in 1856 from Randolph County and named for Henry St. George Tucker, a Virginia jurist. In 1871 a small tract of Barbour was added to Tucker. The region had first been settled just prior to the American Revolution.
