Shipping prices are set at a sliding scale. For orders totalling $10 or less, the charge is $2.00; orders $10.01-24.99 is $4.00; $25-49.99 is $5.00; any order, no matter the size over $50 is $6.00. all books are sent by media mail, U.S. Postal Service.
The speed of delivery is most often dependent upon your choice of the shipping method. Packages sent by “Priority Mail,” is the most expedient method, and will generally reach their destination within two to four delivery days, depending on the area of the country. “Media Mail,” on the other hand, is much more economical, and will generally reach its destination in seven to 10 days. Because of the higher costs of "Priority," most of our customers choose to ship “Media Mail.”
If you wish your books earlier, in the special instructions portion of the order form, please note "Priority Mail". These will be charged at the priority rate, which currently is $5.60 for a priority envelope (single book) or $11.35 for a medium Priority box. The shipping charges for these items will only be the actual postage charged by the post office.
FOREIGN ORDERS will be charged actual postage costs. The purchaser will be notified of the total cost by email so that he/she can confirm the order and costs.
A 40% discount is available to qualified wholesalers.
Wholesalers may call us at the number listed above or E-mail us to set up an account or to order titles.
Please include your Federal Tax ID number (State Tax certificate number if you're in Georgia) and billing information in your letter to receive books on a 30-days net ship/bill basis. Also, be sure to include your purchase order number if you want one to appear on the invoice.
Welcome to Iberian and New Papyrus Publishing Companies. We opened in 1981 as a small, family-owned business, specializing in Virginia historical and genealogical materials, located in Athens, Georgia. The owner and publisher, Dr. John Vogt, is a native Virginian with training in both history and palaeography. We began by publishing four initial titles on Virginia genealogy. 2013 marks out thirty-second year in providing quality resources on Virginia for the genealogist. Our websites, Iberian.com and genealogyresources.org now contain more than a thousand titles, all published in house (Please note: We are NOT vendors of other publishers' books; we began as a publishing company and remain so to this day; the only exception is a series of gazetteers published by Delorme Company). Please Bookmark this page and check out our listings often for new additions.
