One thousand books and counting...

In 1981 Iberian Publishing opened its doors with a one-page catalog and four small booklets printed on a tabletop press. Over the next thirty-five years the tabletop became a massive offset press with trimmers and binding machines, and finally modern technology with on-demand printing. In the interim the press received numerous awards, including the first publisher's achievement award from the Virginia Genealogical Society.

With the publication of Karen Treacy's Botetourt Co., VA Will Book A (Pt.2) in January, 2016. Iberian has surpassed the one-thousand title mark published by the press. Now it renews its commitment to Virginia genealogy and lays down a new set of objectives. Work is proceeding on three new books as well as conversion of several dozen older titles to ebook status.

Thanks to all our loyal customers over the years. I hope we have made your genealogical search a little easier.
